Adoption is close to Trent’s heart.  Both he and his brother were adopted and Trent and Julie also adopted one of their children.  He enjoys supporting adoption and foster groups.

Trent has Alabama roots.  His mother grew up in Talladega and he has fond memories of visiting his grandmother and enjoying her amazing cooking.

Trent enjoys following politics, business and health news and all major sports.  He also understands the importance of severe weather coverage.  He was part of the team that stayed on air continuously for days when Hurricanes Charley and Wilma hit Southwest Florida in 2004 and 2005.

He and his family are actively involved in church and their children’s youth group activities.  When not at work his favorite pastime is hanging out with family which often included playing basketball and losing to his children!
