(WIAT) — On Thursday, the Birmingham Airport Authority released a statement naming several companies that were involved with the sign collapse at the airport.
Now, CBS42 is giving those companies a chance to tell their side of the story.
So far, the theme has been closed-door meetings, prepared statements or no response at all.
The KPS Group returned CBS42’s calls and a spokeswoman said the airport accident was tragic. The spokeswoman also noted that the KPS Group is cooperating with the investigation.
In addition, CBS42 also tried to get responses from Brasfield & Gorrie.
The company responded by telling CBS42 that any information that has been given out is all they are willing to give out.
The statement by the Airport Authority on Thursday ended with the Authority charging the companies involved with handling the matters directly and promptly.
CBS42 will continue to work to try to find those answers.
