(WIAT)– Barbeque, beers, and breast cancer. Those were the focus for the inaugural ‘Cahaba Que’ cook-off. It took place Saturday, April 6th. Teams competed for the best barbeque and guests got to enjoy food and beer tasting while helping raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. Head brewer Eric Myer says the event has been a community effort and adds that he hopes to make the cook-off an annual event.
