“I thought Cole and Patrick both, really didn’t have great stuff out there today, but they found ways to eliminate big innings,” Samford head coach Casey Dunn said. “They just kind of held things in check for us.”

“I went up there with a man on second and third just trying to get my pitch,” Corbin said. “I fouled a couple of pitches off, just trying to battle with two strikes. I got a pitch and I slapped it up the middle for a big knock.”
