Names of two people killed in Ensley fire released

(WIAT) — On Thursday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office announced the names of two people killed in a house fire on Monday night.

80-year-old Lille Montgomery and her son, 63-year-old Larry Montgomery, died after their home on Avenue H caught fire.

According to investigators, the house went up in flames because of hot dogs left unattended and cooking on the stove.
