(WIAT) – On Friday, Monumental Contracting Services released a statement about the ongoing investigation into the tragic March 22 accident at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
The company was listed in a Brasfield & Gorrie release as the group slated to install the Multiple User Flight Information Displays (MUFIDs) during the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport’s modernization project.
According to the release, Monumental Contracting Services did not design, assemble or install the MUFID involved in the March 22, 2013 accident.
The company says it has given full cooperation to the Birmingham Airport Authority throughout its investigation of the accident.
