(WIAT) — Winn-Dixie is issuing a recall on all of its 64 fluid ounce, 100 percent organic apple juices.
The product may have levels of a mold byproduct that exceeds FDA limits.
The mold, called patulin, grows in fruits and vegetables.
The threat of serious health issues resulting from the mold is remote, but the product is still subject to voluntary recall.
The affected apple juices have expiration dates between January 15, 2014 and March 25, 2014.
