(WIAT) — According to government reports, one out of every 200 homes will be forclosed on. Every three months, more than 200,000 families enter into foreclosure. It’s a scary thought for many. Instead of sitting back and watching it happen, there is help available.
Neighborhood Housing Services of Birmingham is hosting a foreclosure prevention seminar this week for families looking to save their homes. The seminar is April 18 and 19 at the Birmingham Crossplex. The event is free, just bring the following: utility bills, closing documents, current bank statments, W2’s, 1099’s, or 2012 tax return, and a proof of income. To make a reservation, call 205-328-4292.
