(WIAT) — Midfield High School held a career fair for students on Thursday. The fair provided students with a chance to see what jobs or opportunities are available in the current economy.
Businesses, colleges and different organizations were invited to set up booths for students to ask questions, get information and be better informed about what is available after school.
“Our industry leaders are here from law enforcement,” Ashley Davis said on Thursday. “They’re here from communications, they’re here from the food service industry, they’re here from higher education. We’ve got every career you can think of to talk to these students about.”
The event’s organizers want the students to know that there are a wealth of careers available to them in the Birmingham area that are waiting for their talent.
