BOSTON, Mass. (WIAT) – The FBI has released an update on the condition of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings that killed 3 and injnured at least 140 people on April 15th.
According to the release Dzhokhar Tsarnaev remains in serious condition.
The FBI also states the information is being released at the request of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where Tsarnaev is being treated.
Tsarnaev was found wounded inside a boat in Watertown, Mass on April 19th, after fleeing from law enforcement during a shoot out which prompted a near 24 hour manhunt.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a second suspect in the bombings and brother of Dzhokhar, was killed.
