Cullman hospital evacuates after bomb threat

CULLMAN, Ala. (WIAT) — A bomb threat cause a hospital to evacuate.  55 patients, along with staff and others, were evacuated from Cullman Regional Medical Center Sunday night. Officials say a man called in a bomb threat for three hospitals, including two in Marshall County.  Critical patients were taken to the closed Woodland Medical Center, while others were transported to the city’s civic center.  The facility was searched, and nothing suspicious was found.  Calling in a fake bomb threat is a felony punishable by up to seven years in prison.
