(WIAT) — Victims of domestic violence were honored in Jasper on Tuesday evening with the unveiling of a new memorial.
A new water fountain was built in front of the Walker County Courthouse over the past few months by family members of victims.
They raised almost $10,000 for supplies.
Names and victims can be added to bricks surrounding the memorial.
The vigil also included several songs by school children throughout the country.
