(WIAT) — Teaching children the value of money is not always an easy task.
However, thanks to a partnership between the United Way and Cadence Bank, it is getting a little easier.
Students at South Hampton Elementary School hosted some special guests from the banking industry on Tuesday.
The banking professionals spoke with children about the importance of banking and saving.
Tuesday’s “Teaching Kids About Money” day is part of the Success By Six program which teams schools with corporate mentors.
