(WIAT) — The honors continue to roll in for the Wenonah High School boys basketball team.

The three-time defending state champions are being recognized nationally.

Senior De’Runnya Wilson and junior Justin Coleman are the recipients of the Inspirational Athletic Award from the USA Today and the Army National Guard.

The two athletes received the award after participating in a PSA against teen violence in their community.

Wilson is committed to play basketball at Mississippi State for football and basketball.
