Flooding continues in the Midwest

(WIAT) — Floodwaters in parts of the Midwest are making for a slow, inch-by-inch retreat.

People were cleaning up for the sixth day in a row in and around Chicago on Wednesday.

Residents of Grafton, Illinois woke up to find their roads completely under water.

One of the hardest-hit areas is west suburban Forest View,Illinois.

Residents say it is going to take a while to full recover from the flooding.

Nearly 90 percent of the small town had to be evacuated due to rising waters last week.
