Birmingham to host concert for human rights

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The City of Birmingham announced that the BBVA Compass Concert for Human Rights will be held at the BJCC in September.

CBS42 is told that it will feature an all-star lineup of musicians and comedians.

The concert will take place at the end of a week-long remembrance of the events of 1963, Civil Rights Movement and the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.

Performers will be announced later this spring.
