Alabama finished the 2012-13 campaign with a 23-13 overall record and tied for second place in the Southeastern Conference with a 12-6 mark in league play.

The Crimson Tide reached the quarterfinals of the 2013 National Invitation Tournament before falling to Maryland, 58-57.

Coach Grant discussed a number of topics including Trevor Lacey’s decision to transfer, his expectations for next season, and his thoughts on Ricky Tarrant returning to his home state to play for Alabama.
