(WIAT) – In this weeks eCO Savings Race update we catches up with the final two contestants who are finding some of their lessons learned, priceless.

See your money is going out the door to the credit cards.

Brenda Rogers hit the ground running looking for funds to pay off her debts.

She continues selling beauty products in addition to her full time job and then took on a seasonal job and has now started selling garage sale items on ebay

But she says her biggest sacrifice through the eCO Savings Race has been, “Spending time away from my daughter when I had to go work my seasonal job.”

Smiling has been contagious in this race something Cassandra James is never short of.

She’s had to work with her coaches for the latter part of the race through skype.

Coach Brittany Smith has been proud of the effort. “She worked hard to look for a job she actually worked so hard she had to go out of state and move out of Alabama.”

Smith says James came into the race knowing how to live on a low budget. Her problem was finding a job to pay off her student loans holding out for the right job has paid off for her.

We’ll announce the winner od the eCO Savings Race on Wednesday.
