(WIAT) — On Monday, Paul Mitchell the School Birmingham hosted its annual Cut-A-Thon.
Donations and proceeds from the event will go to the Boys & Girls Club.
The event featured haircuts for men, women and children.
It is part of a two-month long fundraising campaign for the school.
“Our schools truly believe that giving back is the new black,” Director Erin Greggs says. “In order to be part of a community, you have to give back to your community in order for your community to want to give back to you.”
The school hopes to raise a total of $25,000 for the Boys & Girls Club.
