Man involved in standoff turns himself in


[lin_video src= service=syndicaster width=640 height=480 div_id=videoplayer-1367277243 type=script]MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. (WIAT) – A man who vanished during a day-long standoff in Adamsville on Friday has turned himself in to police.

Mountain Brook Police say 22-year-old Jeremy Nevitt showed up at the Jefferson County Jail on Sunday.

Nevitt posted his $50,000 bond almost immediately.

He is charged with robbery, and is accused of holding up the Mountain Brook Piggly Wiggly on Wednesday.
