(WIAT) — For many Americans, dentures are both a necessity and an inconvenience.
Now, thanks to new technology, fewer people may have to worry about the pain and discomfort of false teeth.
Dentists can now use digital imaging procedures that make precise measurements that are stored into a computer.
The computer then creates a 3D image model that is used to make dentures.
The fit is more exact, and for patients, that means less slippage and a more natural feeling and appearance.
Fitting for the dentures typically only requires two visits.
