Oak Mountain High School teacher receives grant

(WIAT) — An Oak Mountain High School teacher is the winner of this week’s “One Class At A Time” grant.

Gail Bailey won the grant. She is on sick leave, so the award was accepted on her behalf by Principal Joan Doyle on Tuesday.

Principal Doyle and some of Ms. Bailey’s students will be featured in CBS42’s 6 p.m. newscast on Thursday.

CBS42’s co-sponsors of the “One Class At A Time” grant program are Pepsi and America’s First Financial Credit Union.

Any teacher can apply for the grant.
