(WIAT) — The suspect charged in the murder of a 15-year-old at Birmingham’s Railroad Park had his first day in court on Wednesday.
Justin Jones stood before a judge to hear formal charges.
The 17-year-old is charged with the murder of Jarmaine Walton.
Walton died of gunshot wounds from an incident at Railroad Park on March 17, 2013.
Jones is currently in the Birmingham City Jail on a $200,00 bond.
There is no word yet if Jones has an attorney.
