(WIAT) — The funeral for Sheri Williams is on hold, according to her mother.
Williams’ mother tells CBS42 that the family does not have the money to lay her to rest.
She is also worried about being able to take care of her three young grandchildren, who are six, four and two weeks old.
Williams’ mother is also disabled, but she is doing the best she can to move forward.
She is trying to set up a fund for her daughter’s funeral, however, the plans for that fund are not yet finalized.
20-year-old Corderious McClellan is charged with Capital Murder in Sheri Williams’ death.
He remains in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
