(WIAT) — The man accused of killing an Anniston police officer will be tried outside of Calhoun County.
A judge ruled that 25-year-old Joshua Russell will stand trial in Lee County in September.
Russell is charged with capital murder for the August 2011 shooting death of officer Justin Sollohub.
If convicted, Russell could be sentenced to death.
