(WIAT) — Researchers at Berkeley’s School of Public Health say levels of metal found in some lipsticks and glosses can raise potential health problems.
Toxic amounts of aluminum, lead and other metals can be ingested if the lipstick or gloss is not blotted with a tissue.
The levels also raise concern for young children who often play with lipstick.
Doctors say excessive intake of metals can lead to stomach tumors and nerve problems.
