TALLADEGA, AL (WIAT) – The rains came early and often on Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway. It was determined that the racetrack was too wet to hold the scheduled qualifying for Sunday’s Aaron’s 499. Qualifying order will now be set based on Friday’s top practice times. Carl Edwards will be on the pole for the Sunday race after posting a top time of 199.675 mph in practice on Friday. There is no word on whether or not the Aaron’s 312 scheduled for 2 pm will be cancelled.
