(WIAT) — A bank destroyed by an EF-3 tornado is now open again.
The grand re-opening was held for the Wells Fargo Bank in Center Point on Tuesday.
The original building was destroyed in January of 2012.
The new building features a community history mural of Center Point landmarks and city founders.
As part of Tuesday’s celebration, Wells Fargo donated $15,000 to Center Point Elementary School, which is still being rebuilt.
