(WIAT) — A study published in the American-Journal of Preventative Medicine looked at eight popular fast food restaurants.
The list of restaurants included McDonald’s, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Based on the Healthy Eating Index, KFC saw the most improvement in the nutritional value of its food.
Doctors say the study should not be taken as license to indulge in fast food.
Doctors want to remind consumers that high fat and high salt food can lead to chronic diseases.
