CENTER POINT, Ala. (WIAT) – The case of three women held captive in a Cleveland neighborhood for a decade has a lot of people wondering just how well they really know their neighbors.
We took that question to a neighborhood in Center Point Wednesday afternoon. Most people we spoke with told us they know most of the folks who live on their street. Some say they don’t know their neighbors at all and would only intervene in a situation if it was an absolute necessity.
Police say if the person living next to you is rarely home, pay attention. If there is suspicious activity, give police a call.
