(WIAT) –For many, just mentioning NASA conjures images of astronauts, lunar landings and more.
Now, the space agency is working on something a little more down to earth – pollen.
Scientists are using new technology that will integrate data into weather forecasts.
This could mean up to three days advance notice that a high pollen count is on the way.
The advance notice would allow the public to take necessary precautions and treatment before the pollen arrives.
