Vestavia High School principal honored during school assembly


[lin_video src= service=syndicaster width=640 height=480 div_id=videoplayer-1368056527 type=script]BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – Students at Vestavia High School went all out to show their appreciation for their soon-to-be retired Principal Cas McWaters on Wednesday.

The students went above and beyond to show their appreciation for his years of service to the school.

In addition to a special assembly, McWaters was also treated with a limo ride to work and a pep rally.

The 30-year veteran says he is truly honored.

He will be replaced by school board member Wes Gordon.
