(WIAT) — More information coming to light today in an April 21st arrest of Former Alabama and current Baltimore Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain.
In April, McClain was arrested for “Providing false information” to police after being cited for a window tint violation, for which he paid $182. During that traffic stop McClain signed the ticket with a profanity, instead of his name.
Circuit Clerk Jessica Hayes said Thursday Municipal Judge Billy Cook dismissed the charge at the request of the prosecution.
This is the second arrest for McClain where the charges have been dropped, in May 2012 charges of reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, and menacing and discharging a firearm were all dismissed after the alleged victim in the case decided not to proceed
He also has a July 9 municipal court date on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
