Remembering the bombing of First Baptist, Ensley Parsonage

(WIAT) – Members of the Ensley community gathered Saturday to reflect on the 1963 bombing of the First Baptist Church, Ensley Parsonage.

Naomi Ruth Barber King, widow of then pastor A.D. King served as the keynote speaker for the event. King addressed the crowd and share memories of the bombing that destroyed the front of the house she and her husband lived in while he served as pastor.
