(WIAT) — It’s the beginning of the end for “How I Met Your Mother.”
The cast of the CBS comedy has agreed to extend the show for one more year, making Monday night’s season finale an overwhelming cliffhanger.
Since its pilot in 2005, the show has courted nearly 10 million viewers with its stories of love and marriage.
Audiences have watched all the characters grow professionally and personally for the past eight years.
Now, fans will have to wait one more year to find out if the show’s title will finally be told.
The season finale will begin at 7 p.m. C.T. on CBS.
