(WIAT) – It’s been nine long days since anyone has laid eyes on 28-year-old Nicholas Bower, NASCAR fan from Villa Rica, Georgia, who was attending last weekend’s race.
Those nine days have been the most emotional days his girlfriend Jennifer Boesch has ever gone through.
“It’s been a struggle since day one,” Boesch said on Monday. “We’re still holding out hope that he’s out there since we haven’t found anything yet.”
Leads have come and gone, including one that put him in another nearby campground around the same time he went missing the night before the race.
Now, the search has gone global.
A lot of information is going on Facebook and Twitter, but there is also a brand new website about Bower as well.
All of the social media outlets are asking for important information on Bower’s whereabouts.
Boesch and Donna Bower, Nicholas’ mother, both say they will be in the area until he is brought back to them.
“Please help to find my son now, now, and bring him back to us,” Donna Bower said. “Thank you.”
The search will continue, as Boesch says they are still concentrating on the creek that runs through the campsite and on Lake Martin, where the creek ends.
