(WIAT) — The search for a missing NASCAR fan is ongoing in Talladega County.
Nicholas Bower, of Villa Rica, Georgia, vanished the night before last weekend’s race.
He was last seen camping near the South Park area of the Talladega Superspeedway around 11 p.m. on May 4, 2013.
Friends say they discovered him missing the next morning.
Since then, crews have been combing the area around the race track for any possibly clues.
They are creating human chains to search the woods and grassy fields.
The sheriff’s office is also sending out boats and helicopters.
Meanwhile, his family and friends are using social media with hopes of tracking him down.
They have also created a website, http://www.findnickbower.com.
The website includes photos of Nick, as well as stories about him and ways the public can help.
