Auburn drops their final non-conference game to Jax State

Auburn, AL (WIAT)-Auburn finished up their non-conference schedule Tuesday night with a 6-1 loss at home to Jacksonville State.

The Tigers fall to 31-21 on the season meanwhile the Gamecocks improve to 30-23.

Jordan Ebert, the SEC Freshman of the Week, drove in Auburn’s lone run with an eighth-inning sacrifice fly.

Jacksonville State starter Adam Polk held the Tigers to just two hits, two walks, and had two strikes.

Auburn closes out the season against No. 11 Arkansas at Plainsman Park with a three game series starting on Thursday at 6 p.m.
