Birmingham ranked among laziest cities in the country

(WIAT) — Birmingham has landed itself on a list of the 100 laziest cities in the United States.

According to Men’s Health Magazine, Birmingham is the 96th most sedentary city in the country.

Jackson, Mississippi was found to be the most sedentary at 100, followed by Charleston, West Virginia, Nashville, Tennessee and Columbia, South Carolina.

The Men’s Health study used data collected by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention on state-by-state activity levels.
