(WIAT) — More than 20 Calhoun County men and women are behind bars after Anniston Police cranked up Operation Safe Summer.
The bust led to the seizure of more than 460 grams of marijuana, 8 grams of crack cocaine, nine guns and two stolen vehicles.
In all, 22 arrests have been made and 38 warrants have been issued.
Officers sized five handguns, one rifle, three shotguns, two vehicles, one gram of meth, 464 grams of marijuana, eight grams of crack cocaine and 80 illegal pills.
Investigators are still actively pursuing the additional outstanding warrants.
