(WIAT) — When it comes to lending a helping hand to those in need, it’s important to note that helping hands come in all sizes.
Even the smallest and most innocent hands can make a huge impact.
Nearly 50 four and five-year-olds went pedaling on Tuesday for a good cause at UAB.
The annual Bike Rodeo event was held by the UAB Child Development Center.
The children showed off their moves and skills on their bikes in exchange for donations to benefit money for those patients diagnosed with blood disorders at Children’s of Alabama.
In the past, the event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
