(WIAT) — Some Tuscaloosa students are planning a road trip this summer thanks to CBS42 and the One Class At A Time program.

On Tuesday, teacher Christopher King was presented with a $1,000 grant during his television production class at the Tuscaloosa Center for Technology.

Recently, two of his students won a statewide video competition.

Now, they can use the money from the grant to pay for a trip to Kansas City to attend the national SkillsUSA Competition.

King’s entire story will be featured on Thursday CBS42 News at 6.
