(WIAT) — Governor Bentley has called cabinet and staff together to look at components of state emergency operations plan to make sure the state is prepared for emergencies in the future.
A press conference is taking place at the state EMA office in Clanton, Ala.
Governor Bentley’s staff says the public has a responsibility to be prepared in an emergency as well. Leaders urge the public to have an emergency kit and be able to utilize that.
