(WIAT) — A group of local animal lovers are reaching out to the pets displaced in Oklahoma.
The group, along with Toomer’s for Tuscaloosa, will load a semi-truck that will leave on Saturday evening for Moore, Oklahoma.
They need items like crates, flea medication, bedding and leashes.
The truck will be stationed at the Target on Highway 280.
Those who wish to donate can also drop off supplies to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, Freaks On A Leash in Vestavia Hills and Pet Supplies Plus in Tuscaloosa.
Another truckload of supplies will leave in two to three weeks.
