(WIAT) — The area of train tracks where a Norfolk Southern train derailed on Thursday in Bear Creek has been cleared.
Temporary tracks were put into place and the first train passed through the town at 4 a.m. on Friday.
The train derailed around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday.
A total of 21 cars, 15 of which were empty, were involved in the derailment.
