(WIAT) – A church. the beach. a nicely decorated garden:  when deciding on a venue, these are the typical choices for soon to be married couples.
But one Birmingham couple is anything but traditional.
If there’s a comic book or Sci-Fi event anywhere near the Magic City Alison Marceau and Josh Duke are likely to be found at the heart of it.
Their passion for their hobby helped fan the flames of love, so why not celebrate the start of their life together with a ceremony among their closest friends… in costume at the Phoenix Festival at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center before a blue phone booth known to Dr. Who Fans as the TARDIS.
The couple is all smiles on this day and say it was only natural to get married this way.
