American Village holds program honoring veterans for Memorial Day

(WIAT) — The American Village in Montevallo opened its doors for free on Memorial Day.

Crowds packed Liberty Hall for a program honoring America’s veterans on Monday.

The program featured music from the Montevallo Community Chorale.

Visitors also got a chance to tour the village and learn more about the United States’ road to independence.

The American Village is open for the rest of the week.

Admission is $8 for children and $8.50 for adults.
