(WIAT) — From the newest baseball stadium in America, Regions Field, on Tuesday night, to the oldest, Rickwood Field, on Wednesday night, the Barons will continue their home stand.
The Barons will take on the Tennessee Smokies on Wednesday at historic Rickwood Field, which was featured in the movie “42.”
The game will also celebrate the 1948 Birmingham Black Barons, considered one of the greatest Negro League teams of all time.
First pitch is set for 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
