UPDATE: The Highlands Neighborhood Association is now offering a $15,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Kate Ragsdale’s killer.  Ragsdale’s body was discovered by a neighbor in her historic Highlands home back in February.  Ragsdale was a 73 year-old retired librarian from the University of Alabama.  She was also very involved in the community.

In March, Governor Robert Bentley offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the Ragsdale murder.  Tipsters could now receive up to $20,000 for information into the case.  The reward from the Highlands neighbor stands for the next 5 years.

If you have information, call Crimestoppers at 205-752-7879 or text “Tusc” and the suspect’s information to CRIMES (274637).
