Tuscaloosa Police asking for help in identifying debit card fraud suspect

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – Police in Tuscaloosa are asking for help identifying a suspect who purchased flowers and moneypak cards using a fraudulent debit card.

According to a release from the Tuscaloosa Police Department, the incident happened on May 11, 2013 at approximately 2:00 p.m.

The store the card was used in is located on the 1500 block of East Skyland Boulevard.

The suspect reportedly left the scene in a Toyota Sequoia and used the same card in Northport and West Point, Mississippi.

Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Tuscaloosa Crime Stoppers at (205) 752-STOP.
